Daryl Strong has recently returned victorious from the Munster Masters. Daryl had a remarkable record in the Vets events over the last few years nearing 20 tournament victories in a row before being halted just before Christmas. Daryl being Daryl, got back to the drawing board, worked hard over Christmas and the New Year to once again take top honours! Well done Daryl, a true inspiration to the younger generation!
Ormeau players compete in Scotland and Hungary Over the weekend the club had players travelling to Scotland and Hungary to compete for Ireland and Ulster. Anna Kelly and Lucy McIvor travelled with Emma McSorley to compete at the Hungarian Cadet Open in Budapest. Senan & Christopher win at the Ballymena Challenger Well done to Senan on winning Division 1 event and Christopher who won the Division 3 event at the Ballymena Challenger on Saturday. Senan beat Daniel McFaul in the final of the highest event 3-0. Junior Close got to the quarter finals and Reece Towe finished as semi finalist in Division 1 consolation.
