28th September 2017, our club broke the world record for the most consecutive opponents in a table tennis rally. This previously stood at 108 opponents, however club coach Keith took this to 112 opponents! 

We also had famous names down at the club including; Dame Mary Peters, Pete Snodden, Michael McKillop, Mark Sidebottom, and players the Belfast Giants and Ulster Rugby who took on a celebrity tournament against our Ulster players!

Club coach Keith had to say “To actually go out and do it is absolutely amazing but we couldn’t have done it without help of Mary Peter’s Trust”

“I was getting nervous, I’ve played a lot of matches in my day and to be honest it is definitely on power with the amount of pressure you would get from a match absolutely, so great feeling to actually get the world record.”
