Strandtown Claim Bronze At All Ireland Primary Schools
Well done to Strandtown Primary School on winning the Ulster Schools and representing Ulster at the All Ireland primary schools finals in Dublin last week. The girls started very strong winning 6-0 against Munster and then after an epic game with Connacht they lost out in the decider 4-3 and secured a Bronze medal. Their final match was against Leinster and with experience on their side they beat the Strandtown girls 6-0. Our coach Gervis went down with the girls and he was very impressed with the level and team spirit! Great to see the full team of Rebecca, Scarlett, Rebecca, Darcy, Ella and Catherine all playing regularly at Ormeau!
