While Nationals was taking place last weekend brothers Senan and Peadar Sheridan were taking part in the Austrian Youth Championships in Linz, Austria. The event is in its 21st year and attracts nearly 400 participants from all across Europe.
The brothers competed together in the Under 15 team event where they finished 9th out of 15 in the Challenge event. Senan then went on to play the Under 15 singles where he made it to the last 16 of the Challenge consolation event, while Peadar made it to the quarter finals of the Under 11 singles main event, losing to a Belgian who was the eventual winner.
It is great to see club players gaining valuable experience on the international stage. Well done Senan and Peadar🏓👏💪🇦🇹
