Over the past few years, Sophie has progressed massively moving to No.7 in the World and No.2 in Europe! She has played in almost every event including World Cadet Challenge, European Championships and World Hopes but the one event she wanted to compete in is the Euro Top 10 – tomorrow her wish is granted! This is a particularly hard event to qualify for as it goes solely by ranking and to stay within Europes Top 10 players is no easy task.

Sophie along with club coach Keith travelled today to Berlin in Germany to take on Europes best girls in the Under 15 category. This is a fantastic event as Sophie will compete against all 9 girls and there will be no easy matches!

Sophie has been working hard on her game and even managed to keep playing through lockdown – to her mother’s horror she moved a table into their front room – dedication!

As a club, we are so proud of her achievements and we wish Sophie and Keith all the best in the coming three days!!
